About Me
Hello and welcome! My name is Siobhan McLaughlin, and I am the founder of Paw and Mane Veterinary Physiotherapy.
I am a fully qualified and insured Physiotherapist, specialising in both human and veterinary care. I am proud to be recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy (ACPAT).
My love for animals has been a constant throughout my life, and I have been fortunate to grow up surrounded by dogs. However, my journey into Veterinary Physiotherapy truly began in 2011 with my beloved pony, Katie (pictured above). She was my inspiration and the reason I pursued this incredible field.
The bond we shared made me realise the importance of supporting animals in a way that promotes their health and well-being, and that’s when my dream of becoming a Veterinary Physiotherapist was born.
I graduated from the University of Salford in 2020 with a degree in Physiotherapy and have since worked full-time as a human Physiotherapist within the NHS, specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) outpatient conditions. Alongside this, I work part-time at a private Physiotherapy clinic in Chorley, focusing on sports and injury rehabilitation.
In 2024, I had the privilege of graduating from the University of Liverpool as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, and in 2025, my dream truly comes to life with the launch of Paw and Mane Veterinary Physiotherapy.
At Paw and Mane, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, professional care to animals in need of physiotherapy services. Whether your pet is recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply in need of rehabilitation, I am here to help them get back to doing what they love.
Thank you for visiting my website, and I look forward to supporting your animal’s health journey.
